Ok, well there it is, this just doesn't ad up,

why would someone want to issue more shares when they plan on taking away any threat in the first place?

are the O/S shares a threat to a hostile takeover.

Not in the slightest.

A/S are going to stay the same so why would they raise the voting power when there is no threat to it as the share structure is now?
