OT?? There are numerous laws out there that make no sense to me, that are designed as it looks to me, any way, to favor those that have money and power..
One example that I have been reading about this very morning.
Dentists do not know a damn thing about building dentures.
Yet the law requires almost everwhere that a dentist supervise dental technicians when they build dentures for someone.
The Gummy group are being gouged for extra money to pay the dentist for perhaps a cursory glance into the mouth and often not even that. Sometimes maybe they take a close look to check the "bite" but the tecnician can and does do that just as well.
It ain't brain surgery nor rocket science.
