Erbil, Iraq (GUKYF Iraq offices)

Reports said troops will also be dispatched to Erbil in northern Iraq and that President Barack Obama has also authorised deploying A-10s and F-15 aircraft to the Incirlik air base in Turkey.

Thank you, President Obama.

Exxon chose not to comment on it ... Chevron did...

ExxonMobil and Chevron are among the many oil and gas firms large and small drilling in Kurdistan under contracts that compensate the companies for their political risk-taking with unusually favorable terms. (Chevron said last week that it is pulling some expatriates out of Kurdistan; ExxonMobil declined to comment.) With those oil giants have come the usual contractors, the oilfield service companies, the accountants, the construction firms, the trucking firms, and, at the bottom of the economic chain, diverse entrepreneurs digging for a score.

The only redflag I see is CNBC lady that talked about Saudi griping about Saudi leadership, Iraq and Syria so that the move could be to keep Iraqi oil off with war and not to solidify strength against ISIL with Russia against ISIL in Syria... but want to escalate it (ISIL attacks by being in Erbil to keep Iraqi oil off for Saudi digging into cash reserves - that's bad for all mankind if they're after unrest - we'll have to assume Obama means peace as his Peace prize when he took office).
