How did Baltia correct a condition they can't detect? They procured another slide, packed by the same vendor and now, somehow they know it's good? How did they verify the correction? How do they know it won't fail to deploy in an emergency...or in another mini?
The only thing obvious here is that they DON'T KNOW if their slides are going to work..isn't that what you just said?
