I would figure they would wait until the 3rd QTR results are posted before they finalize the acquisition.

I am expecting the 3rd QTR results to raise the share price.

If they close before the announcement, aren't they paying more for Elite than need be? My understanding is that they are paying both cash and stock for Elite. The higher the stock price the less dilution.

What is the benefit of finalizing the acquisition before the earnings announcement?
