A company's stock price long term will not be affected by short term manipulation.
All the company has to do is perform and "long term" shareholders will be rewarded. In fact, for the truly faithful, the present situation, which you're railing against, should be considered a blessing in that it allows you to invest more money as it becomes available before the price takes off of it's own accord.
