What makes you think Intel is not being followed by the SEC also, actually I would be surprised if they are not.

IBM products are a key competitor to Intel processors in the server market.

However IBM has a small market share and a costly business model. Any
development that impacts IBM's financials could seriously affect its ability
to sustain future product development.
