Thanks, I forgot about the immunity from lawsuits. That had to be done in writing cause why on earth would you consent. My point was the change over was done in one day for both company boards and officers. What are the odds of that happening under voluntary free will of each member? Not likely.

If everything was solvent and in great shape at the GSEs while other huge institutions were collapsing around them, why would the boards of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac want or need immunity from anything?
