GPRO doesn't report until tomorrow after the bell why would the shorts be running today?

Those large buys were met with some moderate sells too….stock price moved back down almost .20

I have some shares for earnings but will decide tomorrow if I keep them per let them go earnings could go either way. Not to mention the FED meeting tomorrow…sigh.
