But it doesn't work like that. They would have to go through the mini evac and ditching exercise and so before they could fly the plane. Baltia is not trying to certify a 747 it is airworthy and is able to fly now. They are trying to get a part 121 certificate that will allow them to fly revenue flights as an air carrier. Buying a 777 would not change anything they would be in the same position they are right now.
