If I understand it correctly, in order for the charging station to work, you need to buy a special Flicharge case.
To me that is the turnoff. I want to just be able to put my phone on the charging mat and it'll charge regardless which case I have.
The other option is to buy a charging disc. I'm not sure how this will all work but I think the pad needs to be improved so you can just plugin the pad and just put your phone on and it charges.
