ignore those picks most of those gains are empty gains. There is no strong bid support so if you end up being the sucker to buy a large block your screwed with no way to get out. The only ones that make money are the ones that already have a position in the stock just waiting for new buyers to unload.
Anytime a pick is sent out they already have positions and need new buyers to unload on.
