Totally agree mrlahjr, we should successfully complete our mini too considering what is going on with slides in the industry.

I'll try to find the National Geographic episode I watched on youtube and you have to really pay attention to the Investigation part of the episode which takes place after they tell you what happened and the experts come to find the cause of a crash.

I think it's a 747 belonging to British Airways. The slide had nothing to do with the cause of the crash; but, it was an aside mentioned lightly during the investigation. There is a picture of where the packaged slide is located next to the door and you see that package partially open (as if it was going to deploy; but instead jammed the door shut.
