I think you guys are incorrectly predicting a consumer preference towards AMD products. There is none, and in fact it never existed. Most of the people who bought AMD (outside of the diehard supporters, that is), did so because it offered the best performance/$ and performance/watt. When this changes with Core 2, buyers will shift back to Intel.

Now, the enterprise market is even more sophisticated. Intel has been prepping the market for Woodcrest for months now with prototype "seed" systems. Now that it has officially launched, the transition back to Intel standard servers will happen even faster.

And of course, if AMD cannot continue ramping volumes and cannot continue supporting ASPs, that's when they start losing money, and if you think the stock is low now, well you ain't seen nothing yet....
