practically yes....hypothetically, I believe if there would be a limit buy at above the ask (lets say here 20 min ago at 0.309 for 50k shares) then it would go bam bam without MM adds at their ask price????? Anyways, not relevant in trading.

Most definitely. You only see the 1st priority buy/sell for a particular account. There could be plenty more for the same account that you don't see. In addition, the MM's are fully automated. So rather than showing you everything they have to buy/sell, they show you 2500 or so shares. As soon as that order fills, they're software sends an identical order. Of course, that assumes they're looking to buy/sell more at the same price. They just as easily step up/down their order price. But the main point is what yerboss stated.

Watching L2 for a day will help anyone see the game that's being played. I didn't have access when everyone was griping about manipulation last quarter. I knew there were shorts at play, but I didn't realize just how broad and coordinated the manipulation was/is.
