Several years ago, I had two friends that were non-responders after many years and different treatments that did nothing to stop their cancers, they simply gave up when told they had less than a year to live. They simply wanted to die and were no longer interested in running to another clinic to try something different. Needless to say they both gave up and died from their cancer.
As the good results IMO from the Combo UCSF becomes known, the enrollment rate will increase. A person knows when their cancer begins to recede and the news would soon be heard by others.
