Yes I definitely know they have measures to cut through the necessary red tape and get you tax loss paperwork on worthless positions.
They may try to ding you an admin fee...but small price to pay if you have capital gains you can use the tax losses against right!
Let me know how it goes...sometimes retail firms try to pass the buck or make things difficult...just stand your ground and remain firm...they don't want the hassle and will eventually cave in and get you the necessary paperwork cheers
