Reminds me of one from Honeywell a few weeks back.

One Development Program required a new exhaust header. When the local vendors could not meet the program schedule and cost, the AM lab was asked to build the parts. "The lab made the attached exhaust header and beat the best-quoted schedule by 66% and the best-quoted cost by nearly 45%" stated Milan Paluzga, Additive Manufacturing Program Manager.

Lol yeah I remember that one…. back when GE was still claiming to be developing our stuff and tossing IPQA around all willy nilly… (Good job Mark on the registered trademark) ;) hehehe
