LOL!! You ain't a gonna win that argument with me Didster. Or at least, you are not gonna convince me that the statement clearly makes no claim re sterility by Valimed.

I believe that it is carefully worded to leave the impression
that Valimed will not pass an IV bag that is not sterile. The subject "sterility" leads to the predicate that Valimed tests for it.

Lets break it down...

"ValiMed features patent-pending technology that validates in seconds the strength of compounded doses of high risk medications prior to dispensing."

Clear enough.. No problem.. maybe not strictly accurate nor complete.. but clear.

"Verification of compounding accuracy and sterilization is a requirement under USP 27-NF 22 Chapter 797, which regulates the compounding of sterile products. The ValiMed System can play a key role in demonstrating the safety of compounded sterile products (CSPs) under these requirements."

Now then.. Unless one KNOWS better..like me you and a few.. this tells us that VALIMED is used to verify BOTH accuracy and sterility...
