What??? The information posted is completely inaccurate! "InStep Holdings LLC has the rights to the Jimi Hendrix name to market their products; this is huge in my opinion."

Why would you post that they have the "rights" to market the name Jimi Hendrix - completely false! The Trademark has just been applied for - and there is a history of denial.

Here is a lesson on how to do a trademark search.

Go to: http://tmsearch.uspto.gov/bin/gate.exe?f=searchss&state=4802:dior6t.1.1

Filing Date September 21, 2015

Status: New application will be assigned to an examining attorney approximately 3 months after filing date.

Status Date: Sep. 24, 2015

Click on the TSDR link and you will see that this is in the initial changes - the USPTO hasn't made any comments etc - there has been two documents filed - the New Application and the Drawing!

I don't understand how you could possibly post: "InStep Holdings LLC has the rights to the Jimi Hendrix name to market their products; this is huge in my opinion. Based on what has been filed and is now active on the United States and Patent Trade Office (USPTO)"

All of the other nonsense - is superfluous as it is based on inaccurate information!

There was a Trademark application for Jimi Hendrix Electric Vodka that was denied with the following reason: Registration is refused because the proposed mark consists of or comprises matter which may falsely suggest a connection with Jimi Hendrix. Although not connected with the goods or services applicant provides under the proposed mark, Jimi Hendrix is so famous that consumers would presume a connection with applicant.

The chances of InStep getting a Trademark for "JIMI HENDRIX ICON BEVERAGES" not very likely.
