IMHO

Since the company has increased personnel from 11 to 40, they recognize the problem .
Since the company went to a major distribution company in Southern California, they recognize the problem.

Non Profit versus Profit issue: IMHO

Another distraction that a first year law student can answer.

To be non profit, the law has to clearly state that, and it does not. If one reads the law there is a section regarding non profit and it pertains to testing labs.

19300.5. For purposes of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply:
(a) “Accrediting body” means a nonprofit organization that requires conformance to ISO/IEC 17025 requirements and is a signatory to the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation Mutual Recognition Arrangement for Testing.

Laws in general : IMHO Federal law trumps State Law and State Law Trumps local ordinances. Local ordinance is designed to make cities feel important and give them a additional revenue.

Important note: no matter what occurs in California, IVXX is going to the State of Nevada as a BRAND, to be distributed to 62 dispensaries just like Bhang Choc and then on to all other states that allow Medical Marijuana. State of NEvada is FOR PROFIT !
