Here is another example. Lets just say a Nascar team has the fastest, most technological advanced race car on the planet. If you have a sub-par driver(CEO in our case), odds are, they will never see full potential of that car. If said driver continues to make mistakes and never wins the race (only brags about how great he is), spectators will quickly disregard him. No matter how many times the family, friends and team owners want to brag about the driver it all becomes irrelevant when the results are in. The team will start losing money and a stigma will be attached to thier team. The only way to turn this thing around would be to hire a professional driver(who has proven track record to win races), if not the team ownership will eventually lose all their money and go bankrupt even though they own the fastest car in the world...
