I guess I don't really see where it says that the jacket is better than anything else that they sell because of the Spiber product. It seems that they are attempting to sell this with the fact that the material is not made from an oil based product. I guess we will see. I remember seeing a green dress once that was made with man-made silk, and they acted like that technology was about to change the garment world. We haven't seen any more on that material either.

MOON PARKA is clothing the world's first artificial protein material that has been produced by the actual apparel industry line was used. Through this prototyping, we were able to grasp the many challenges towards mass production. In Spiber, with the aim of launching early as possible and the resolution of this problem, we have a third-party allocation of new shares totaling 9.5 billion 84.16 million yen (separately Spiber than news releases.). In the future, that it will continue to resolve one by one these challenges,

Hard to comprehend the translation. Sounds to me like in making the prototype they realized that there were many issues ahead for mass production, and they received 84 ml yen from a, VC probably, to try and resolve them. It would not surprise me if cost was one of these issues.

Seems like all the players have something in common, including Kraig. Everybody hopes for mass production NEXT YEAR. All though Kim would never announce the name of the customer at this stage.

Once again Spiber / Kazuhide has announced that they have already succeeded "next year".
This seems to be Kazuhide's favorite tactic, to proclaim success in the future!
