I'm not sure that the first unveiling will be at a conference (I'm sure once they do the unveil they will be on a constant roadshow at various conferences).
I would think they would want complete control of the first introduction of SPORT to the market.
Good question. I agree with CUIN. I think that after being tight-lipped for so long, Titan will want the first public viewing of the device to have a bit more fanfare. I could be way off though. They may just announce it in a PR then we will see images of it trickling out in the press here and there. It's anybody's guess. Ximedica has so much skin in the game Id have to think they'd want to "piggy-back" on the unveiling as well. And if the rumors of an MA deal being thrown have any legs then the acquiring company would surely like to put its stamp on it as well.
It's all just speculation at this point. I simply dont like it when people speculate so much about something that the speculation turns into expectation. This board is notorious for that.
Why would you think engineering verification and July 2016 make the most sense? By then the timeline has us knocking on the door of CE Engineering verification will be done end of 2015. That and getting in some trials in Q1 2106 should give plenty of opportunity to showcase it. In fact it would be necessary and certainly unable to keep secret in Q1 2016
