Your question was: Are we seeing early proof that science triumphs over bullshit?

And the answer is: No! This temporary (and likely manipulated) slight increase is not proof that the science works or that we are seeing "science triumph over bullshit."

I would argue we are seeing bullshit triumph over common sense and rational thinking.

I would also contend that NNVC is trying to put bullshit over the laws of physics. But as they are an exception to every "usual and customary" process and procedure when it comes to science, drug development, accountability and honesty, I'm sure they can overcome the laws of physics.

Heck, that's all I have to do and then my flying carpet is finished.

At NNVC science does not triumph over bullshit. Bullshit reigns supreme. Science, as in peer reviewed published papers, does not exist at NNVC. And yes, real scientists don't take a claim seriously until it has been put through peer review and published.
