Funny, they're using semantics to make their arguments, TVs versus monitors.

This is incorrect. There is no alternative material on the market with the same color gamut and energy efficiency. In addition, there are no monitors on the market based on indium phosphide.

They also don't credit ASUS' notebook with Nanosys qdots as being a monitor. I personally would consider any PC laptop or notebook as a monitor, but that's just my two cents.

The Philips monitor is the first quantum dot based monitor in the market today. There is currently no monitor in the market using indium quantum dots. Televisions based on QD Vision’s quantum dot technology have been on the market since 2013.
