Not only in NC: the federal "Industrial Hemp Farming Act" (HB525 +SB134) could be the only thing in common between the various statal interpretations.

The problem is not for Hemp Inc: it already has a raw material alternative to hemp (kenaf).

Obviously the approval of the federal law would be a good incentive for the hemp movement.

10 Days

That is the statute time for the Governor of North Carolina to sign or veto a bill. If he does nothing it automatically becomes law after the 10th day.

The Governors office, now knowing what you posted John, might well pass on signing and just let it become law without the "endorsement" of the governor signing. That would be the safe play. If the Governor is in the mix too, he will sign.

In any event, the hall is rented, the band has arrived and its now time to dance.

I see a crash and burn of epic proportions with a national scandal.

And I have zero sympathy for the devil.

Unfortunately this will hurt if not cripple the efforts being made for acceptance of the medical aspects of cannabis, and that will truly be a shame. That is why i am so vehemently opposed to HEMP inc, and specifically the scammer Perlowin. JMHO. GLTA.
