You do know that flu vaccines do not take years to develop and in fact have a significantly shortened trial period based on previous vaccine safety? You do know that, right? Problems with quick trials come into play only when flu vaccines include reformulation, such as a new adjuvant, or previously flu strains that were problematic, such as swine flu. You do already know this, yes?
Also, flu is not Ebola.
