2da, as a longterm investor and reader of this board I would like to express my sincere thanks to your engangement. If one reads your elaboration one could receive the impression that still might be found s.th. like shareholder value in conjunction with this company, not within th BoD unfortunately, but initiated by attentive investors like you. Thank you for your efforts!

How about a Reader's Digest format of your post for us unpatient readers? A summary for us, the frustrated longs.

Thank you for the effort you put in the task of addressing the BOD's malfeasance and other matters.

I had occasion to write a letter addressed to the BOD of another biotech company earlier this year. It addressed others issues relating to that BOD's failure to follow its own corporate governance policies. I incorporated by reference 2 previous letters that I had previously personally handed to the incoming and outgoing BOD Chairmen and
CEOs at a recent ASM of that company; I attached copies of those 2 letters to the latest missive to the entire BOD.

It saddens me to say that I have received no response from anyone to any of the above letters.

Good luck with yours.

First Thank you 2da. Secondly I have sent this to a NY based attorney/expert to see if there is enough "meat on the bone" to pursue piercing the corporate veil and going after them individually for damages.

• Curiously, how was it the SVP of Corporate Affairs Maria Cantor, who I understand heads up IR, did not attend the AGM? Is her attendance at the AGM part of her job description? If not, should it be? What are her leadership duties as they pertain to all shareholders?

How Ms. Cantor held on to her Ariad job so long, and got paid so much, speaks to the chaos and lack of oversight over there.

When I demanded the ouster of the legacy BoD, and questioned the value of Ms. Cantor, many here dismissed the efforts. Except for one BoD member, they are are all out the door.

For those that disagree with my opinions, e.g. on current management, I offer that track record.

Still not convinced, the pps says it all. Expectations of some magical '113 fix for Ariad's problems is unrealistic. It's a good drug, but it will take some doing, and some time, time that Ariad cannot fund without great pain.

Our WACC is in the 10% to >20%+ range (depending on how one values that bargain $140MM INCY deal). It was not a good deal. Figure that INCY bought 70% of 1/3 the world Pona market (less the EU organization) for that $140MM. What is the other 2/3 + 30% of EU worth? Whatever that number, Ariad should take it now. And sell Ariad as a promising pure lung cancer company. That is what is best for shareholders.

When you have the CFO answering the phone calls from shareholders, it's not exactly screaming 'ongoing business'.

The brilliance of the Denner/PP 6 month strategic plan still a puzzle. The collapse from the 9's to near 6's wasn't impressive.
