#124245 RE: someconcerns #124230

I second that.

Will be interesting to see how this plays out. Sullivan perfectly suited to tackle this... Uber-connected with all the right people. Loved the SEC ref. A Great White, or better, Megalodon, seems about ready to chomp on some Mako.

I know an Ex-US Atty here in Utah and believe-you-me, these Legal Eagles can put major Fear in those sitting across the table from them.

Pulled some past cases re trying to get S Alpha to cough up names. Sullivan might not need to do this - assume he has plenty of other Discovery means at his disposal. Still thought might be of interest to some.

And below is likely the kind of Demand Letter Sullivan may soon be firing off to S Alpha to try to force a retraction... better a few months late than never.

Other Seeking Alpha users have been the target of other lawsuits involving content on the website. In December, vending machine maker AVT Inc. filed a lawsuit against a Seeking Alpha contributor, served this month, for libel and other alleged actions for his suggestions that the stock was worth less than what it was trading for.

Shannon Illingworth, founder and chairman of AVT, Inc., said his company filed a civil action against the contributor, seeking damages resulting from multiple publications concerning the firm.
