The market is essentially unchanged over the last 12 months. It's properly priced in an economy that has lost the upward momentum it had for many years.
There has been all that much bad news.
When there's a recession people are losing jobs. Look back to the 2009 job statistics. About six million people lost their job in one year.
This year 1.7 million new jobs. Notice the difference?
