#761 RE: roni #759

Roni--I guess I wasn't clear; my point is that every week--heck, lately it's almost every *day*, there's a new story about the latest virus--Klez, Nimba, SirCam, Cherynobyl, Annakournakova, Melissa, ILOVEYOU, Bugbear, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc...which Windows users have to keep a constant awareness of. You have to be "street smart" to use Windows--always on your guard, constantly keeping one eye over your shoulder, a constant fortress around your heart, to paraphrase Sting. Sure, the various antivirus programs/updates/defs/etc. do a pretty good job these days, but I'd much rather live in a safe neighborhood with an extremely low crime rate (OS X) than have a good deadbolt in an extremely bad neighborhood with a high crime rate (Windows w/antivirus software).

Of course, to be extra-certain, it's best to live in a safe neighborhood (OS X) *with* a good deadbolt lock (Virex/AntiVirus/Firewall).
