Issues with Windows

1. Viruses for Windows: tens of thousands, a large portion of which can still effect current versions.

To be fair, I use Windows 2k Pro at work. I do a auto download of the virus defintion file automatically every day at noon. Since I started doing that, I have had no problems with viruses. In the decad and a half I have used Windows, I have had two viruses, one troublesome to the IT stafff who took care of it.

Appreciate it BD. I am not the 1st who has felt the push in the back. I wish Panther were available now. That would be a big help in keepingh the mementum going. Come Oct, I start on the replacements. Even though g5s would not be needed initially, I want to get a bit ahead od the curve (replacing 9600s with g3 Sonnet upgrades and a couple of g4s). Unless the "crik don't rise," that is what I will get.

<hard to describe the drooling as I will be one to get a g5 :) >
