Hi Col. When you say "very soon" are you speaking in geological terms? Something has been going to happen very soon, maybe this week, maybe tomorrow with WM for years. Could you explain how this "very soon" is different from all the other "very soons"?
One thing we can count on is that if WM gets an order from a legitimate customer, it will shout to the rafters immediately. It has not done so, therefore, there is no order. That opinion is based on common practice and common sense.
There's nothing new about WM posting photos of products, including completed meters. WM has announced mass production without defining mass. For all we know, WM might consider 50 units to be mass production.
