Capted, that's pretty incredible.

Would he say how he distinguished they were treasure wrecks?

But SFRX is suppose to have two permits coming......

and the first one as early as two weeks or so. Mary said so....sort of.

So, where are we?? Mary says that she sent a FINAL request to SFRX yesterday, for some very minor items, and then the permits are basically ready. We should FINALLY get the permit for section 3. I didn't ask if that included section 1 too, as that doesn't seem important right now and I was asking a lot of questions anyway. I think though we shall finally get the permit for section 1 within 2 - 3 weeks. (Yeah, the timing SUCKS. SO much for the wonderful summer!!) It was confirmed that they CAN get this permit for section 1 and then then immediately, based on finding the items needed to prove a ship is probably there, apply for what we here have called a salvage permit. There is no requirement to identify the name of the ship before getting a salvage recovery permit. So I think we are moving forward.

Plus Juno is now in play because the top man at Tulco died (which is why he didn't renew the permit, because dead men can't renew permits) and SFRX is getting the permit in their name ONLY because of the missing mag survey in a certain area of Juno. It was all in the filings.....sort of.

They let the permit expire and then looked like they were moving on. But that blanked out areas came into play, and they started working on getting the permit back, but only in their name. It says all that in those three statements in the filing, although not in those exact words. that's where they are at. I'd sum it up as < Making progress, but still working with the district court to get what I would call "quiet title" so they have no issues if they find something of value on the site. > That is a LAND term, for property where someone might have a claim against a title, and I know is probably not the accurate term to be used here, but that's the only word "I" know to describe what they are doing.

Bottom line, it is moving forward, but needs to get final everything before they go down and bring up whatever is there. I personally think it will not happen in 2015, to get the district approval and the state permit. So I'm focused on site #3 for now. I think that is coming SOON.

Still, it's a lot more than JUST ""the permit expired".

If I read the posts above correctly, and I could be mistaken, we should see that first permit by 10-15.....give or take a few days. it's basically ready to go.
