Mark Cola's consistent comments about their continued work with GE lead me to believe they are part of the structure of that bridge. There are patents involved besides GE wouldn't be paying to test their own product. We are close enough now and GE never shows their hand till they are ready to go. I would be blown out of the water though if Sigma actually got a contract to print those parts on their own M290 due to their close relationship with GE.

In as much as the press release is 2 1/2 years old it really speaks to how long it has taken GE to coordinate and assemble what it will take to AM anything. So here we are at the end of 2015 and SGLB is still hard at work with them. Its been that long and im betting GE wishes they were cranking it out already to. The machines it takes to get it done are now being created and from what Im seeing SIGMA is moving to be in them. If your selling printers and your customers are already working with a system they believe in what would you want in your printers. In my opinion huge contracts are still a long way off and that is based on the fact there just aren't that many printers yet. But it is also my opinion that SIGMA will become the equivalent of Intel inside when it comes to qualifying the quality of your part. A lot of risk 2 1/2 years ago a whole lot more potential today. SIGMA is already in the door and soon to be in most printers in my opinion.
