Solomon said he was afraid of missing the wave, but we could have been rich right now even before the wave even started if he had played the cards better.

Sure. He built the abattoir and then the cattle prices collapsed. So now he has to import beef in order to make good use of the abattoir, that was paid for with our blood. Which is still a good business, until margins get squeezed. Because everyone will be doing it. That's not where I invested my money.

Same thing with the HU-plantation. It was all glory and sunshine, until it started raining. So now that one is worthless too, especially with the rubbish cash flow situation over there.

These managers think they are so smart. But I'm a lot smarter. LOL.
Well, it doesn't take a genius. Even Fredrik can do it. But it is somewhat troubling, knowing that we have a few smart individuals on the BOD (I think we do) but they can't make it work. That's not good for them, their reputation, the company or the shareholders. If there is another round of dilution, they really ought to consider stepping down.

Absolutely agree with you. I think another downgrade is coming soon. Possibly more share dilution and more negative performance results in this quarter.

"Feels a bit like management squandered the chance to make SIAF a hit for shareholders. Sure it can still be good but if they had focused on generating positive cash flow on a smaller scale and had done some buy back programs or dividends, then it would all have been very different.

If they had skipped the abattoir and some of the other extra developments that were not really necessary, like restaurants and all kinds of different farms e.t.c..

We could have become really rich in quite a short time, but now it will just be a decent investment considering how long many of us have been invested.

But it can still become very good of course.

Great post, Emilez.
