Overnight leader Henrik Stenson added a 2-under-par 34-34=68 in today's second round of the TOUR Championship to touch 9-under 131 at the midpoint, good for a three-shot margin entering the weekend.

The Swede loves himself some East Lake Golf Club. Of course, in his only previous look, he won the tournament in 2013 with four red numbers. He's now halfway to repeating the feat. He split just eight (of 14) fairways in today's loop, but he landed 16 greens in regulation and co-leads the field with 29 GIR at the break. While he squared two bogeys, including a three-putt from just inside 39 feet at the par-4 eighth hole, Stenson covered with four birdies, all of which from outside 13 feet. His longest taped off at 17'4" at the par-4 12th. He reached the midpoint ranked second in strokes gained: tee-to-green with an aggregate clip of 6.603. He's also third in strokes gained: putting with a combined measurement of 3.898. Since he entered the season finale slotted fourth in the FedExCup standings, a win also means the FedExCup title.
