Zanny, I'll be the first to take your advice as you sound like a seasoned Mac user. What box are you using, btw, and have you made the switch to OSX? I myself have been reluctant to do so (but now that Quark 6 doesn't support 9 I have to do something) as it seems kind of overwhelming and I just can't afford to have anything go wrong right now, as I'm working on a tight deadline. What has your experience been with the switch to OSX?

Also, are you planning to move up to Panther when it becomes available? That one really makes me nervous.

Zanny, your response seems out of character. Most of the time the real Zanny would step on individuals who couldn't figure these problems out on there own (via the net). In any case, I do not really won't to bog this brd down with specific questions. My point was that I am a prime example of an apple fan who might end up leaning towards the 800 # gorilla just because it is easier.

In any case, if I have to do it at work I will remain failthful at home. Also, my daughter just graduated in the graphic arts and will remain a mac user, for now. What the future is for her is up to apple and $.

Hope the G5s are what we all wanted and will levitate apple where it should be.
