A Sole proprietorship is much different than a public corporation - first you don't file with the FTB.
A public company operating illegally is much different than a Sole proprietorship continuing business.
I own a business and the SOS suspended my business in August because I failed to file one piece of paper and pay a $45 fee, shit happens did I quit working no I kept going in and got it fixed!
Did you ignore notices that you needed to file for over 2 years?
It's good to hear from and consider input from those who have actual experience running a business. Anything else is at best a positioned subjective theory versus based upon experience
You didn't fall down into the fetal position and call it quits. Some are always looking for that got ya moment. So dramatic on everything here. CFO is fixing the SOS No big deal.

Was the last time you filed anything with the SOS back in January of 2013? It was for Monster Marketing. I know, just a minor oversight! LOL. I'm having a hard time believing that anyone would even offer that as an excuse. A 2 1/2 year 'minor oversight.' Ya gotta luv it!
