Outstanding share amount hasn't changed, so they are existing shares. If they were newly issued shares the OS would have to increase.

In another stock I own Vis Vries is a convertible debt holder, similar to Asher. What makes this a little more interesting is that the O/S in the filing still shows 164M, so wondering where these shares came from. Company does not benefit financially from Vis Vries buying in the open market. I emailed the T/A to see if the O/S has changed, just to make sure.
