You are probably right about 4 cores though that seems to be the path that Intel is going down. Intel did a really good job focusing the industry on better benchmarking practices in 90s. I am not sure why they are not more agressively developing better benchmarks. Then again Apple does seem to have the best SOC philosophy right now . I avoid their products because of they are so much more money but they really did a good job on the iphone 6 and 6s.
