"IMO, this shows that KBLB is significantly undervalued and should expect high growth in pps post-commercialization."

theres no question that if kblb started selling spider silk that its pps would rise....but theres no reason to believe it should or will match the valuation of spiber...theres too many variables...

also, spiber is a private company...if they were to go public, they may ipo at 25 bucks a share and end up at 30 bucks a share...would that necessitate raising kblb's potential value?..not likely...they are already a public company...

also spiber, at its pps, can attract institutional investors..hedge funds, mutual funds, pension funds etc...

even at 10 times its current value, kblb would still be a penny stock..not an institutional investment candidate..

what this does do is show just how pie in the sky some of the valuations placed on kblb are...12, 15, 20 dollars a share are just ridiculous...even in a buyout situation..

Just because spiber has a valuation higher than kblb doesnt mean that kblb is undervalued. It could also mean spiber is overvalued

Imo both things are true.

Spiber is extremely overvalued and kblb is undervalued.

But give spiber a chance. Once they use up that cash and need to dilute for more their valuation will become reasonable.

We will have to see where they are when they decide to let the world actually see what they are making.

I will say i find it funny that spibers "high tech" fiber is also being aimed at clothing.
Seems like "joes t-shirts" is going to be a bit oversupplied in spider goo t-shirts though.
