Funny, in that most Chinese have no wealth to tie up. That, as you say, 10% of Chinese have a brokerage account, does not seem credible, as this is a very large number.
Nor your conclusion on how they invest and tie up their wealth; is a presumption based on your Western investment familiarity of total brokerage accounts in relation to population size, assumed as the same norm for China.
