Sure it is...do you know what the cost of 100LL or Jet A is? Are you really going to actually spend money to prove your theories...with the $500 you will spend in gas, why don't you just buy some more stock.
Oh and one more thing...as a pilot who flies a jet, the hours your friend accumulates in the single engine recip you guys are going to fly won't really do him a bit of good...but enjoy the scenery
