Pilots are paid to train, whether or not they fly. The smarter ones realize they are just going through the motions and keeping 747-200 currency at Baltia's expense.
If an airline isn't paying for your training, a pilot would need to pay out of their own pocket and that's expensive. I'm sure the Pilots appreciate BLTA shareholders for paying the bills. To stay current, someone must pay for the sim time.
Why would the flight attendants and pilots waste their time with training and working for an airline if they didn't know or BELIEVE their employer would become certified? It's not all for s&g's.
The pilots and attendants are backing the airline just likes its shareholders.
