Some people like the spotlight, and some people don't. My understanding is, the inventor would rather PIP never even be mentioned, though this is certainly impossible, since it is now common and public knowledge of the technology.
From what I also understand, it will continue to remain 'proprietary', for to patent it, only opens the door to slight changes and new patents from others (Japanese have been famous for this, though in other areas).
By remaining proprietary, this benefits EDEX (shareholders most considerable, and by remaining un-contactable, an even greater plus.
Though we all love a mystery, and are generally not happy till we know the end/outcome/answer, I suggest we, like Tom, endevour to keep 'our little secret', a secret.
Nothing like a monopoly that no one can even touch!
