Don't gamble with money you don't have and stay out of credit card debt.

Yup. I knew a guy who threw the farm at one particular stock. It even looked like a smart buy. In the end though, he lost everything (wife/house/car/boat), and last I heard from him, he was a missionary in Guam.

Moral of the story is, don't bet the farm unless you like Guam. lol
