"Dun Glen gold mine update
After the many adjustments made to our circuit over the past 3 months we have now run enough ore to say we have been averaging between .5 and .75 ounces per hour with about a 50% capture rate. This represents a solid number to START with but far from the number we hope to have here soon. Unfortunately up to today we have not been able to run more than a few hours per day due to water availability and the high amount of clay which leaves the water too dirty to do the job correctly and prevents us from having a higher capture rate.
However, starting today we will be bringing the water from the 2nd pond online, which we received the permit for last Friday, which should increase the amount of hours per day we can run…GOOD NEWS
Next week we hope to have the 3rd pond online to eventually achieve our 1st goal of 40 hours per week so we can make enough money to not only pay for our current operations but also improve the existing circuit by adding additional equipment such as jigs for a better gold recovery percentage, cyclones and a second sand screw for better water clarification, etc.
This .5 - .75 ounces per hour should only get better with each improvement we make going forward. More water allows it to stay cleaner to process with and results in increasing gold yield. More production results in digging deeper in the pit, toward bedrock which will result in the ore having more gold content to recover….GOOD NEWS
EVERY week things get better and better for us at Dun Glen…recovery rate will get better with the ADDITIONAL CLEAN water, the amount of hours we run every day will INCREASE with the water from the new 2ND POND and we will get better and better ore (based on our geological reports) as we dig deeper and deeper in our 1st gold pit."
