integral - since you made this on-topic: please tell me what necessary correlation is there between one's house valuation and one's personal wealth? If one lives in a (presumably nice) area where housing prices per square foot are lower than in NYC, LA, or Miami, does one need to, then, build an even larger home to demonstrate one's personal wealth to investment board posters ?

Krueger is a construction guy in Wisconsin. He is not in NYC, Miami, or Los Angeles. Houses in Compton and North Hollywood run the same in value as his own personal home in Wisconsin.
